Letter: Old Coddger recollects big tree A suggested answer to question which stumped Junior Stotts Old Coddger writes: Ed, I saw this picture many years ago and it was made in Cane Valley. It was the stump of a Pawpaw tree. There was also a picture of the team of mules that was hauling one 20' log from this tree, and it took a 12 mule hitch to handle the load.
