Holloway Health and Wellness Center update Joel Peterson, Director of Campus Recreation at Lindsey Wilson College reminds everyone that spring break is coming up soon, even though it doesn't feel like it with the cold weather. Highlights of the Holloway Health and Wellness Center newsletter to students, faculty, staff and the community are shared below. The Holloway Health and Wellness Center and Pool hours for Spring Break are: Friday, March 8, 2013: Center open 6am-7pmCT, Pool 12pm-2pmCT and 4:30pm-7pmCT Saturday, March 9: 8am-2 pm, Pool 10 - 1 pm Sunday, March 10: 2pm-6m, Pool Closed Monday, March 11: 6am-8pm, Pool 12 -1 and 4:30pm-7:30pm Tuesday, March 12: 6am-8pm, Pool 4:30pm-7:30pm Wednesday, March 13: 6am - 8pm, Pool 12pm -1pm and 4:30pm7:30pm Thursday, March 14: 6am-8pm, Pool 4:30 - 7:30 Friday, March 15: 6am-8pm, Pool 12 -1 and 4:30 - 7:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2013: 8am-2pm, Pool 10 - 1pm March 4-8, 2013 is Health and Wellness Week: Monday - Friday - HWC daily passes will cost only 1 canned good for the Adair County Food Shelf. All Group Exercise classes are free Tuesday 4am-7pmCT at the Health and Wellness Fair in HWC. There will be vendors, goodies, and a free health assessment! It is hosted by Student Activities and Campus Recreation. Swim Lessons are $35 per one-week session. LWC Students - Looking for a summer job? HWC will be offering a lifeguard certification course in April. If you are interested in Lifeguard Certification you must be able to swim 300 yds non-stop using a combination of freestyle and breast stroke.
