Cyclist injured in collision, KY 70/MLK intersection, Campbellsville, KY

Rider transported to Taylor Regional Hospital. No charges placed against either operator

From Campbellsville, KY Police Department

The Campbellsville Police Department today, Wednesday February 27, 2013) investigated a two vehicle injury collision on KY 70. At approximately 7:54amET, the Campbellsville Police Department received a report of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of KY 70 (South Central Avenue) and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Officer Ryan Jewell responded to investigate.



A vehicle operated by April Brewer, 38 years of age, Campbellsville was traveling East on MKL Blvd. Brewer pulled from a stopped position at the intersection into the path of a motorcycle operated by William J. Simpson, age 27 of Campbellsville, KY.

The vehicles collided in the intersection. Simpson received injuries from the collision and was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by CTCEMS. No charges were placed against either driver. - Anne Sanders for the Campbellsville Police Department
