Driver extracted from overturned vehicle, Old Columbia Road

Single accident, single injury, Saturday afternoon accident, south of Campbellsville, KY when vehicle strikes telephone pole, overturns, and comes to rest upside down

A 2005 Buick LaCrosse operated by 71 year old Ethel Jean Green was traveling north on Old Columbia Road when the vehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck a telephone pole and then overturned, coming to rest on its top. The accident occurred at 3:52pmET, Saturday, September 16, 2013.



The operator of the vehicle had to be removed by the Taylor County Rescue Squad and was transported to the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville by ambulance.

The investigating officer was Taylor County Sheriff's Office Deputy Ricky Underwood. He was assisted at the scene by Campbellsville Police and Taylor Deputy Dicke Benningfield as well as the Taylor County Fire Department.
