Free Soil Testing February 11-22, 2013

During the two weeks of February 11-22, 2013 the Adair County Extension Office will be receiving soil samples, at no cost to producers. The Soil Conservation District will be sponsoring the free soil testing program. Landowners have the opportunity to get up to 10 soil tests results for free through the University of Kentucky. Soil probes may be borrowed from the Extension Office for a 2-day period. For information on how to collect a soil sample, stop by the Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY, and request publication AGR-16 Taking Soil Test Samples. For additional questions contact the Adair County Extension Office at 270-384-2317. --Nick Roy
