Shelia June Willis Stearns age 54 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 11, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Rose of Sharon Cemetery. Family requests visitation 3pm-9pmCT/4pm-10pmET, Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.

Shelia was born on Sunday, December 21, 1958 in Barren County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Bobbie Odell and Madaline Thacker Willis. She died Saturday, February 9, 2013 in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 54 years, 1 month, and 19 days.

She was a member of Rose of Sharon United Methodist Church and a member of the Hegira Homemakers Club. Survivors include her husband Benny Stearns of Burkesville, KY and the following:
  • One daughter: Kayla Brown and her husband David of Burkesville, KY

  • One son: Dusty Stearns and his friend Brittany Grimes of Murfreesboro, TN

  • Two grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Dakota

  • Three uncles: Roy Willis, Paul Willis, and Millard Willis all of Burkesville, KY

  • Seven aunts: Legean Thacker, Hazel Smith, Linda Riddle, and Phyllis Roach all of Burkesville, KY, Irene Spears of Indianapolis, IN, Judy Rush of Louisville, KY, and Margie Thompson of Glasgow, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
