Trooper gives CPR to unresponsive child, Speck Ridge Road area Child is now in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Kosair Hospital, Louisville, KY By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - On Friday, February 8, 2013 at approximately 3:15pmET, Tpr. Casey Wethington was on Patrol in the Speck Ridge Road area of Taylor County when he was flagged down by a female. She advised that her 7-year-old daughter was in the car, had just had a seizure and was not breathing. Tpr. Wethington immediately radioed to Post 15 dispatch and called for an ambulance. He then pulled the child from the car and began CPR, continuing until EMS arrived and took over the child's care. The juvenile is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Kosair Hospital in Louisville, KY. - TFC BILLY GREGORY This story was posted on 2013-02-09 16:18:28
