Bobby D. Jessie, Adair Co., KY (1943-2013)

He was born in Adair County, KY, a member of a highly regarded South Adair County family. He was a 1962 graduate of Adair County High School, Columbia, KY. Bobby worked as a data processing manager for many years and was a faithful member of Harrah Freewill Baptist Church. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later joined the American Legion following his service. During his time in the military he deservingly received the National Defense Service Medal

Bobby D. Jessie, 69, of Del City, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Visitation was 9am-8pmCT, Thursday February 7, 2013, at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK. A second visitation will be at Eternal Hills, Snellville, GA, from 4pm-6pmCT/5pm-7pmET, Monday, February 11, 2013. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home & Crematory, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039, at 10amCT/11amET. Burial will be at Eternal Hills Cemetry in Snellville, GA.



Bobby D. Jessie, Adair Co., KY (1943-2013)


He was born on July 30, 1943 in Sparksville, Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Edgar and Lillian Jessie. He died Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in Del City, OK, at the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 6 days.

He was a 1962 graduate of Adair County High School, Columbia, KY. Bobby worked as a data processing manager for many years and was a faithful member of Harrah Freewill Baptist Church. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later joined the American Legion following his service. During his time in the military he deservingly received the National Defense Service Medal.

He is preceded in by both of his parents.

He is survived by the following:
  • His children: Tracy Price, Melinda York, Patricia Chadderdon and Ronald Morgan

  • Nine grandchildren

  • One great grandchild
