Wellie Paul Grant hearing over - release order stands The hearing on the motion by Commonwealth's Attorney Gail to vacate, alter, or amend Judge James Boling's order releasing Wellie Paul Grant, was over in approximately one hour. Wellie Paul Grant had been indicted for the murder of Rex Coffey 7 years ago. Judge Boling ruled that the Grant release stands. The courtroom was mostly filled, largely with friends of the Coffey family. There was a brief wait for Judge Boling to enter the courtroom, delaying court for 10 or so minutes. The procedure was over before 10amCT. Details will be posted later. This story was posted on 2013-02-06 10:13:46
