Deborah Jo Capps Polston, age 55, of Burkesville, KY passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at her home in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at the Burkesville Church of Christ, 417 S. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Neal Tremblett and Bro. Jacob Jordan officiating. Visitation will be after 12pm noon CT/1pmET, on Monday February 4, 2013 until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY.

She was born in Cumberland County, KY on Wednesday, February 13, 1957. She was the daughter of Bradie Carmon and Ina Ree Melton Capps. She died in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the age of 55 years, 11 months, and 17 days. She was a member of The Burkesville Congregation of The Church of Christ, an EMT and a CNA having been employed by Cumberland County Hospital and Lifeline Home Health Care.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandson, Devin Polston and her niece, Dana Stilts.

She is survived by her mother Ina Ree Melton Capps, and the following:
  • Her son: Donald Polston

  • Her sisters: Janice Stilts, Linda Smith, and Sue Capps

  • Her granddaughter: Kindre Crawley

  • Her nephews: David Flowers, Brian Flowers, Danny Stilts, Christopher Stilts, Gavin Hendrey, Kayden Curtis, Bradie Flowers, and Dalton Denney

  • Her nieces: Angela Curtis and Brooklyn Hendrey

  • and special friend Norman Weston
