Sad word of the passing of Dan C. Waggener The sad word of the passing of longtime Columbia, KY, businessman Dan Caldwell Waggener, 77, has reached us. Mr. Waggener died last night, Friday, February 1, 2013, at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY. He was the owner of Columbia Tire & Recapping. He was the husband of Peggy Janes Waggener, and the father of Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton (Gary) and Columbia businessman Dan C. (Cindi) Waggener, Jr. all of Columbia and all of whom survive. Additional details will be posted after funeral arrangements are known.
