Jeff Coffey home suffers major damage in Friday midday fire

The Columbia Fire Dept responded to a house fire Friday morning, February 1, 2013, at 11:15amCT at 706 Mitchell Street, Columbia, KY, for a residential house fire. The home was owned by Mendell and Teresa Milby, it was occupied by Jeff Coffey. There were 17 firemen on the scene for around one hour and the home suffered major damage. - Donald Hare
