KSP arrests Leitchfield man on 20 counts of child porn

Act on tip from Knox County, TN, Sheriff's Department

LEITCHFIELD, KY - On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, KSP Units from Post 4 arrested 48-year-old Michael E. Alcorn for 20 counts of Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance of a Minor-1st Offense at his residence on Orchard Street in Leitchfield. The charges stemmed from a tip from the Knox County (Tennessee) Sheriff's Department. Investigators were able to identify Alcorn as the suspect. A search warrant was executed which revealed illicit images of children. Alcorn was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center, Leitchfield, KY. Trooper First Class Terry Whittaker is conducting the ongoing investigation. - MTPR NORMAN CHAFFINS
