Regina Davidson Burton, 80, of Columbia, KY, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 5:35amCT, at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with burial in Bearwallow Cemetery, 6090 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 3pmCT, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the funeral home.



Regina Davidson Burton, Adair County, KY (1932-2013)


She was born in Cumberland County, KY, Friday, September 16, 1932. She was the daughter of the late William and Lennie Long Davidson. She died Sunday, January 27, 2013, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 11 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Lanis Davidson.

She was retired from Fruit of the Loom and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Zina H. Burton of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Her God-son: Jeremy (Kylie) Foster and their children, Madyson, Makenzie and Zachary of Columbus, IN

  • Four sisters: Anna (Donald) Burton of Columbia, KY; Louine (Odis) Sinclair of Campbellsville, KY; Arthia Jones of Fishers, IN, and Kay Davidson of Lisle, IL

  • One brother: Billy (Margaret) Davidson of Indianapolis, IN

  • A host of nieces, nephews and friends
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations be made to the Bearwallow Cemetery Fund, which may be left at the funeral home.
