Doug Beard now Manager, Global Strategic Meetings and Events

Doug Beard, Columbia, KY has been promoted to the position of Manager, Global Strategic Meetings and Events, for Brown-Forman Corporation in Louisville. In this role, he is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of major global company strategic meetings and events, particularly in expanding international markets.

He first joined Brown-Forman in 1998 as the Media Services Supervisor, commercial photography and video production division, and was promoted to Strategic Events Manager in 2005. Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Doug held positions within the federal government, Kentucky Media Services and RJR Nabisco. He holds a BA in journalism from Western Kentucky University.
