Inas Winifred Barger, Dunnville, KY (1920-2013)

She was a homemaker and a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of a very large, respected Russell County family and the last of the 10 children of the late Silas Walker Barger and Pina May Owens Foley. She leaves 23 direct and 8 step living descendants.

Inas Winifred Barger, 92, Dickerson Road, Dunnville, KY, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services will be at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, at 2pmCT/3pmET, Sunday, January 27, 2013, with Bro. Don Arthur and Bro. Glen Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT/6pmET, at the funeral home.

She was born March 13, 1920, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Silas Walker Foley and the late Pina May Owens Foley. She died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 92 years, 10 months, and 10 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Judy Rus, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sons, Michael (Adell) Barger, and Ores (Ronella) Barger, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Sister in law: Ester Foley, Louisville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • Three step grandchildren

  • Five step great grandchildren
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.

The Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
