Pauline Sneed, age 92 years, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 9:20amCT at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

Funeral service Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Stotts-Phelps- McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating Rev. John Blakey and Bro. Bobby Withers Interment in Jones Chapel Cemetery, 2700 Jones Chapel Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT/5pmET, at the funeral home.



Pauline Sneed, Adair County, KY (1920-2013)

She was born Saturday, June 18, 1920 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late J. O. and Dellie Rogers Parnell. She died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 92 years, 7 months, and 4 days.

She was the widow of Eurial Corbin and was later married to Harve Sneed who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Linda Brock of Columbia, KY

  • One step daughter: Barbara (James Allen) Coomer of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Joseph Parnell of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Alice Sneed of Columbia, KY

  • One granddaughter: Tammy (Bobby) Burton

  • Two great grandchildren: Candance (Barry) Petty and Ashley (Brandon) Willis

  • Three step great grandchildren: Cody Burton, Bobby L. Burton and Brooke Burton

  • Three great great grandchildren Weston Willis, Raegen Petty and Brantley Willis

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death one son Arvest Wayne Corbin; two brothers, Carl Parnell and James Giggs Parnell; and three sisters, Ora Sneed, Lillian Coomer and Flossie Hamlett.
