Fire destroys Jones Chapel Road home at 380 Jones Chapel Road

Firefighters battle blaze in bitterly cold, 18 degree F. weather. Fire location at 380 Jones Chapel Road, 5.8 miles, 12 minutes from Adair County Fire Department, 200 Merchant Street, Columbia, KY.

The Adair County Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire on Monday Night, January 21, 2013, at 11:28pmCT, at 380 Jones Chapel Road (Google Map/Directions), Columbia, KY, to a residence owned by Roger Crawhorn.

The home was engulfed in fire upon firefighters arrival and sustained major damage. The cause is under investigation. There were 17 firemen on scene for about 1.5 hours. - Donald Hare
