Men's Basketball: Lindsey Wilson 85. Cumberlands 76 Defense key in No. 8 Lindsey Wilson men's basketball topping No. 14 Cumberlands 85-76. Daronte' Clark leads scoring with 18. Kalen Kimberland 15. Darren Ballou hits two threes By Dan White Sports news from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY) turned the ball over 16 times and Lindsey Wilson College made it pay, hitting 10 threes on Saturday night, January 19, 2013, to earn an 85-76 win at Biggers Sports Center. Saturday's win was historic for Lindsey Wilson as it was the program's 500th since becoming a four-year institution prior to the 1987-88 season. The win snaps an eight-game losing streak in the series for the Blue Raiders. Cumberlands (15-5, 6-4 MSC) hit 25-of-28 free throws, but it wasn't enough to slow a Lindsey Wilson (18-2, 8-2 MSC) offense that hit eight first-half 3-pointers. Daronte' Clark led Lindsey Wilson with 18 points, while local standout Kalen Kimberland added 15 and DeAntra Scott issued 10 points. Columbia native Darren Ballou hit two threes on the day.
