LWC Women's Basketball falls to No. 7 Cumberland 57-37

By Dan White
News from Lindsey Wilson College
COLUMBIA, Ky. - A shorthanded Lindsey Wilson College team lost its first home game of the season as 17 points and 12 rebounds from Ashley Rainey were not enough to slow down seventh-ranked Cumberland (Tenn.) in a 57-37 loss on Thursday, January at Biggers Sports Center.

Jasmine Brimm added nine points and Tara Arnold tallied five points in her first appearance with the Blue Raiders after transferring at the semester break. Lindsey Wilson played the game without the services of starting guard Sarah Gillis and reserve point guard Jadelyn Profitt who were out nursing injuries.
