Ilene Fisher, 78, a resident of Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services for Ilene Fisher will be 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Holt Cemetery. Friends may call after 5pmCT/6pmET, Friday, January 11, 2013, at the funeral home. Bro. Elvis Tucker will be the officiating clergy.

She was born Monday, October 30, 1933 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Onie & Sadie Lou (West) McQueary. She died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 78 years, and 10 days,

She was a homemaker. Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Rex Fisher, Jamestown, KY

  • Four children: Margaret Drake, Margie Wisdom, both of Russell Springs, KY; Connie Moore, Chattanooga, TN; and David Fisher, Jamestown, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Three great grandchildren

  • Four sisters: Opal Thomas, Daphene Popplewell, both of Russell Springs, KY; and Beulah Armstrong and Josie Badgely. both of Indiana
