Letha B. Sullivan, 92, of Danville, Indiana, formerly of Columbia, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, in Danville, IN.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Raymond Martin officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11amCT/12pmET, Wednesday, at the funeral home.

She was born Saturday, November 20, 1920, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William and Ella Bryant Collins. She died Thursday, December 27, 2012, in Danville, Hendricks County, Indiana, at the age of 92 years, 1 month, and 7 days.

She was a social worker for 12 years for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, retiring in 1985, when she moved to Plainfield/Danville, IN, to spend time with her family. She enjoyed gardening and flowers.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Jimmy (Shirley) Collins, Rodger (Patty), and Terrill (Shirley) Sullivan

  • A daughter, Geneva Underwood

  • Grandchildren: Rick (Tammie), Terry (Joslyn), Shawn (Virginia), Chad, and Roshia (Matt)

  • Great grandchildren: Tiffany and Kristin, Bryce and Brett, Lukas and Lillianna, Jade and Cyle and Reece.
  • A niece, Imogene Bryant of Columbia, KY
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cassius Sullivan and two brothers and four sisters. Send a condolence to the family of Letha B. Sullivan
