N. Laurel's Katie Bowling signs with Lindsey Wilson Golf

COLUMBIA, KY - North Laurel High School senior Katie Bowling signed an NAIA scholarship to join the Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team for the 2012-13 season, Blue Raider head golf coach Shaun Cozart announced on Friday, December 7, 2012.

Bowling was joined at her signing ceremony at the college by her mother Diane, father Mike and aunt Carla Campbell.

Bowling has been a member of the varsity golf team at North Laurel for seven years and is a two-time qualifier for the Kentucky State Golf Championship.

She was named to the All-Region team as a senior this season and shot two rounds of 86 at the Kentucky State Championship to finish tied for 44th place in the 82-golfer field. - Dan White
