Jean Grider, Adair County, KY native (1941-2012) She was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of Indiana at the time of her death. She was a member of a highly regarded Sano area family with deep roots in Adair and Russell Counties of South Central Kentucky. She was the daugher of the late Walden Everett Shepherd and the late Hettie Shepherd Grider. Her earthly remains will be returned to her ancestral home for services and interment in her native Adair County, KY. Jean Grider, 71, of Greenwood, Indiana, (formerly of Sano Community) died Sunday at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. The funeral service for Jean Grider will be 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Free Union Cemetery, by Free Union Separate Church, 4600 Sano Road, Columbia, KY. Bro. Jessie Long with be the officiating clergy. Friends may call after 5pmCT/6pmET, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs, KY. Jean Grider, Adair County, KY native (1941-2012) She was born Thursday, August 28, 1941 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Waldon Everett Grider and Hettie Shepherd Grider. She died Sunday, December 9, 2012, in Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana, at the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 12 days. She was preceded in death by a brother, J. B. Grider and a sister, Genevieve Worsham. She is survived by the following:
