Roger Allen Hisle, 69, of Lakewood Drive, Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY

Funeral service for Roger Allen Hisle will be 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Joe Allen the officiating clergy. Special singing by Mark Poiles. Burial will be in the Tarter Cemetery. Visitation is after 4pmCT/5pmET, Friday, December 7, 2012, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Bobby Hubbard, Larry Norfleet, Bill Schnuck, Roger Burchett, Jerry Kantlehner, and Bennie Hager.

Roger Allen Hisle, Russell Co., KY (1943-2012)

He was born October 31, 1943, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY. He was the son of late Roger Dotson and the late Dorothy Miller Estes Hisle. He died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 1 month, and 5 days.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Jones Hisle and the following:
  • One daughter: Tammy (Scott) Vallandingham, Wilmore, KY

  • One step son: Eric (Catherine) Price, Starks, LA

  • One grandson: Matthew Scott Vallandingham

  • Six step grandchildren: Hannah, Maggie, Emma, Tyler, Luke, Cooper

  • Sisters: Charlotte (Ray) Singer, Cynthiana, KY; and Judy (Glenn) Archer, Kirksville, MO

  • One brother: Kenny (Rose) Hisle, Beaver Dam, KY

  • Mother in law: Norma Jones, Russell Springs, KY

  • Host of nieces and nephews
The family requests memorials to the Grace Family Fellowship Church Building Fund.
