Mr. Bobby Curtis Gwinn, age 74, a resident of Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Curtis Gwinn will be conducted on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 10amCT, at Cumberland Valley Manor, 301 South Main, Burkesville, KY. Visitation on Thursday, December 6, 2012 after 8amCT, at Cumberland Valley Manor until time of service. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery.



Mr. Bobby Curtis Gwinn, Burkesville, KY (1938-2012)

He was born on Wednesday, February 2, 1938. He was the son of Jack and Bera Smith Gwinn. He died Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 74 years, 10 months, and 2 days. He was of the Church of Christ Faith and was California Motorcycle Highway Patrolman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his aunts, Lucille Strange, Ruby McCoy, Addie Riddle, and Nina Baker, his uncles, Leslie Smith, Robert Shelby "Bobby" Gwinn, Sellie Gwinn, Rev. Stanley Gwinn and Joe Fred Gwinn.

He is survived by the following:
  • His children: Shellie Gwinn and Stacy Gwinn of California

  • His uncles: Denzil Smith and Ted ( and Carmelita) Smith of Burkesville, KY

  • Several cousins

  • And his family for 27 years, the Residents and Staff of Cumberland Valley Manor
