Adair Co., KY: Saturday shooting leads to Sunday arrest

COLUMBIA, KY - On Saturday, December 1, 2012 at approximately 4:53pmCT, Post 15 received a call from the Adair County 911 Center in reference to a gunshot victim at Westlake Hospital in Columbia, KY.

20-year-old Adam Haskiell suffered a gunshot wound to the chest during an altercation with 22-year-old Jeremy Lee Luttrell at a residence on Keen Wilson Road. Both men are from Columbia. Haskiell was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where he is in stable condition.

Luttrell was arrested today at 10:33amCT, 8 miles east of Columbia, on Athleta Trace Road in Adair County. He was charged with Assault 1st Degree and lodged in the Adair County Jail. Detective Russell Decker is investigating.
