Mary Edna South Porter, 91, Metcalfe Co., KY (d. Nov. 28, 2012) She was a member of the Center United Methodist Church, and a former employee of Handmachers in Glasgow, KY. She was the matriarch of a large, highly regarded North Metcalfe family. She leaves 17 direct living descendants and ten step descendants Mary Edna South Porter. age 91, of Center, KY, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at NHC Health Care in Glasgow, KY. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Center-Asbury Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, and after 9amCT, Saturday, at the funeral home. She was the daughter of the late Weeden and Dora Lambirth Beard. She was a homemaker, retired from Handmachers in Glasgow, KY and a member of the Center Methodist Church. She is survived by the following:
