Democratic Women's bake sale will benefit scholarship fund

CHRISTMAS in COLUMBIA - Bake sale helps fund Scholarship for deserving Adair County High School Student to attend the college of their choice

The Democratic Womens Club will hold its annual bake and crafts sale to raise money for our ACHS Scholarship Fund, $500 to a graduating senior. It will be held 9am-3pmCT, Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the Historic Adair County Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY, during the Christmas in Columbia celebration.



If you do not have time to help or bake/craft, please come by and make a generous donation and pay your dues for the coming year. Otherwise, please have items priced and at the Courthouse by 9amCT, Saturday, morning. If you need your item picked up or wish to leave it with someone earlier in the week, please call 270-384-3348 or 270-384-5431.

Your donation will ensure that a deserving young person will again this May receive much needed assistance in furthering their education at a KY college of their choice. Open to female or male.

Applications for the ACHS Scholarship are posted at the school or contact a club member. Thank you to all those who have been so generous in the past to this most worthy cause. Adair County Democratic Women's Club, Jamie Shelley, President. - Victoria Pike
