Christmas Carnival at Lindsey Wilson is Sat., Dec. 1, 2012

Donations especially a Christmas tree are needed. Loans or gifts of Christmas decorations are needed to decorate the huge building. Activities will include Santa and Mrs. Claus, many, many free booths, as well as vendors for those interested

Lindsey Wilson College's Holloway Health and Wellness Center, 299 Williams Street, Columbia, KY, at Lindsey Wilson College will be hosting a Christmas Carnival for the community, 1pm-4pmCT, on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no admission charge, and most activities are free; in addition many vendors will be on hand for those interested.



We are currently looking for any available Christmas decorations, especially a 12-15ft Christmas tree, that can be donated for the carnival by Thursday November 29, 2012.

If you would like to donate your items, they can be brought by the Wellness Center or contact me, Joel Peterson. Decorations can be donated or brought and returned. If you would like items returned please put your name on your items. We would appreciate any items brought in to help make our Wellness Center full with Christmas decorations.

The Carnival will include:
  • Children's Crafts - Adair County 4H
  • Cookie decorating
  • Face painting - Damons CTA
  • Storybook village - LWC Education Department
  • LWC Choir and Band
  • Inflatable games - donated by Barney Burns
  • Furry friends
  • Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • Children''s activities
  • Gift wrapping
Entrance and main attractions are free. There will be vendors with children's activities for those interested. Everyone is invited to join in the festivities. - Joel Peterson
