Gary Gene Anderson, age 67, of Arles Hale Road, Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at his home following an illness. Funeral service for Gary Gene Anderson will be 1pmCT, Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Officiating Clergy will be Bro. Richard Antle, Bro. David Antle, with family eulogy by Mike Polston. Friends may call after 5pmCT, Thursday, November 15, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs, KY.

Pallbearers: Keith Anderson, Phillip Anderson, Mark Blakey, Eric Blakey, Charlie Anderson, and Marvin Anderson.

Gary Gene Anderson, 67, Russell Co., KY (1945-2012)

He was born Monday, April 24, 1945 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of late Arthur and Marie Hale Anderson. He died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 67 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lavon Blankenship Anderson, and the following:
  • Two children: Troy Anderson, Tanya Womack, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Brently Anderson, Bradly Anderson, Justin and Jason Womack

  • Two sisters: Shirley Thompson, Blanchester, Ohio; and Barbara Foley, Russell Springs, KY
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Harold, Glenn, and Phillip Anderson.
