No. 11 Lindsey Wilson Men's Basketball beats OSU-Mansfield 125-47 Blue Raiders off to blazing start for 2012-13 season, with all 14 players contributing points, winning by 81 points and shooting a torrid 60.5% before a hometown crowd of 324 at Biggers Sports Center Next: Blue Raider Men's Basketball hosts Indiana Northwest (Gary, IN) At 1pmCT, Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. By Dan White News from Lindsey Wilson College Daronte' Clark led all scorers with 16 points, hitting four 3-pointers and grabbing five rebounds to lead the Blue Raiders. Milton Watts chipped in with 14 points and DeAntra Scott and Simon Barres each finished with 12 as the Blue Raiders could simply not be stopped. By halftime the lead had already swelled to 60-19, which is what happens when you knock down 65 percent of your shots, compared to just 26.9 percent for the Mavericks. Lindsey Wilson finished hitting 13 threes as well, while limiting OSU-Mansfield to none in 10 attempts. The bright star on a dim night for the Mavericks was Delvonta Cheathem with 14 points, but one good performance couldn't make up for 29 turnovers and getting beat on the boards 52-29. Lindsey Wilson continues to be a team that knows how to play together in the early stages of the season. Kalen Kimberland and Chris Bridges each finished with six assists and all 14 players on the roster contributed with points. The Blue Raider bench outscored Mansfield's by a whopping 81 points at 83-2, while Lindsey Wilson also took care of business in the paint, outscoring the Mavericks 66-22 down low. Mansfield never led in the game, instead falling behind by 11 just eight minutes into the game at 18-7 on a basket by Scott. Lindsey Wilson went on to lead by as many as 78 points as the final buzzer sounded. - Dan White This story was posted on 2012-11-11 08:06:32
