I would like to thank everyone for their support throughout my campaign and during the time since the results were posted. I realize that there are many disappointments in life, and I have experienced several recently. However, there are many things to be thankful for. I appreciate the kindness extended to me and my family over the past few months, and I appreciate the words of encouragement last night and today.

I am especially thankful for the time spent with old friends and the many new friendships that have developed as a result of this endeavor. I know that there is a Higher Power at work, and I look forward to seeing what tomorrow holds.
