John Adair scored proficient, just two points shy of distinguished

Proud of role CWC plays as feeder school to JAIS, and that for state testing, John Adair and Col. Casey are considered "Joint School".

By Patty Jones, Principal, Col. Wm Casey School
Today is the release day for the 2011-2012 state test results. Col. Wm. Casey Elementary School is considered a "joint school" with John Adair.

While no students are tested statewide at K-2 our students feed directly into JAIS and their 3-5 results reflect back to our school and the preparation students receive here.

I am thrilled to announce that John Adair/Casey scored in the 88%tile in the state.

That means that we scored at or above the level of 88% of the schools in the state.

This puts us as a highly proficient school and only 2 points shy of being considered a distinguished school. I am so proud of our former students and all of the teachers and staff at both schools.

Thanks to you as parents for supporting your child and I hope as our district transitions into the new configuration that support will continue. As long as we work together for our students benefits the future will continue to be bright!!

You may look at results at this link http://applications.education.ky.gov/SRC/. You will need to go to the School Report Card box and choose John Adair to see the actual results and data. Other information about CWC is located under that school name.
