Remembering Phyllis Loy: One of greatest friends of writer's life Carla Shelley writes: Today, brings a range of emotions both beautiful and solemn. Today would have been the birthday of one of the greatest friends of my life - Phyllis Loy. While I miss her more than ever, I am so grateful to be reminded of all that Phyllis was. A wife, mother, sister, aunt, banker and friend. She touched so many lives in so many ways and left her special touch (especially that amazing laugh) imprinted on the hearts of those lucky enough to have known her. To all her friends and family, I just want you know that I will never forget her, or stop loving her, and will always remember just how special she was. To Columbia Magazine, thank you for this service you provide that allows us to reminisce about special people that touched our lives. - Carla ShelleyObituary: Phyllis Loy (Nov. 1, 1949 - Sept. 6, 2008) This story was posted on 2012-11-01 09:13:56
