Odd cloud shapes - undulatus asperatus - pretty in sunsets By Joyce Coomer I've seen these odd cloud formations for years -- I watch the sky quite a bit since clouds can have beautiful shapes. We had some of these odd looking clouds here about a month ago, as spectacular as the picture taken in Somerset. I took a few pics before a downpour moved in. If you check the Internet, there are some glorious pictures of this type of cloud formation - undulatus asperatus, I think they're called, some near sunset with the clouds a vivid orange. Just type in "odd cloud pictures" in browser search box. -Joyce Coomer This story was posted on 2012-10-29 10:17:12
