Adair Farmers Market open 3pm-6pmCT

The Adair County Farmers Market is open 3pm-6pmCT, today, Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the Adair County Extension Office parking lot, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY, with the following inventories (so far):
  • Tucker's Station Farms, 1535 Bull Run Road, Columbia, KY - We have the best crop of Tenderette and Roma Green Beans so far this year. Green (Bell) Peppers and Baby Bells too. Old time Keifer Pears, Strawberry plants and continuing with the resouthernifacation of Adair County - fresh Peanuts. We'll even be happy to share the secrets of the south's mysterious "Boiled Peanuts" with those who want to explore their southern side.
  • Darrell Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY -Fresh Pork- Breakfast Sausage. Pork Tenderloin. Pork Steaks. ALSO: Green and Yellow Peppers. Winter Squash - Spaghetti Squash and Butternut Squash. Mums.
  • Jeff Scott, Antioch, KY - Jonathan Apples
  • Ken Thiery, Bliss, KY - Tomatoes. Green Peppers. Jalapenos. Green Peppers.
