Republican Rally re-set for Oct. 25, 2012 New voters reminded that registration deadline is October 9, 2012 Note: This article updated October 23, 2012. The event has been rescheduled for October 25, 2012. By Katie Melton News from the Adair County Republican Party There will be a Republian Rally geared towards young Republican voters on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 7pmCT in the Adair County Annex basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia Ky 42728. The mission is to get voters acquainted with each candidate running for office on a local, state, and nationwide scale. This will be an ideal opportunity for young voters to learn more about the election and candidates in correlation with the party. We will be joined by the College Republican groups from both Western Kentucky University and Lindsey Wilson College, as well as local Republican officials and candidates for meet and greet opportunities. Political stickers, signs, and shirts will be handed out so that you can show support for your candidate of choice. Be sure to come on an empty stomach as the event is being catered. Also, if you're not registered to vote and you'd like to be, contact me at sara.melton747@topper.wku.edu OR 270-634-4522 and I will be sure to get you a voter registration card immediately and direct you in which location to turn it in.
