The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, has issued the following forecast for Columbia, KY. This forecast from update at 1:15amCT, October 1, 2012

Overnight - A 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after 5am. Cloudy, with a low around 59. East wind around 6 mph.

Monday - Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 69. East wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible

Monday Evening- Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 61. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
