Adair Democratic Women meet October 1, 2012

By Victoria Browning Pike

The Adair County Democratic Women's Club will hold its regular meeting at 6pmCT, Monday night, October 1, 2012, in the basement of the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce Building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY, to discuss, Christmas in Columbia bake and craft sale.

Also, we have been asked to assist State Treasurer, Todd Hollenbach with his Treasure Finders Program, 10am-2pmCT, October19, 2012 at the Columbia Adair Co. Chamber of Commerce Building. This is the program to recover property such as a refund check which has been sent to his office because it is undeliverable to the address on it. Our ladies are asked to see if they can help find a correct mailing address for these folks. More info to come on this program at a press conference October 9, 2012.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of one of our members, Mary Lee Cundiff. Our sympathy to the family. - Victoria Pike
