LWC men's soccer breaks program record in 4-0 win over CU

Huge day for Soccer in Columbia, KY: 1,273 attend game. Victory is 29th consecutive one for team

COLUMBIA, KY - The top-ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team beat Campbellsville University 4-0 Tuesday night, September 11, 2012 at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Holloway Drive, Columbia, KY. LWC, the No. 1 team in the NAIA, notched its 29th consecutive win, breaking the program record set during the 1998-99 seasons for consecutive wins. The win streak is the second longest in NAIA history, trailing only Hastings (NE) College's 39 straight wins during the 2010-11 seasons. On the season, LWC improves to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference. Campbellsville falls to 4-2 and 0-1.
