Fifteen members of Columbia High class of 1953 at reunion The class was the last at the High School on Graded Hill at Frazier Avenue & East Guardian Streets, bounded also by Woody Avenue and Grissom Street, Columbia, KY Click on headline for story with photo(s) By George Rice On Saturday September 2, 2012 there were 15 members of the 41 graduates of the 1953 Columbia High School at the class reunion at Lindsey Wilson's Robert D. Cranmer Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY. The graduates were joined by husbands and wives. The class of 1953 was the last graduation class of the old high school on the hill before moving the schools to the new and present location on Indian Drive off Greensburg Street. Graduates in attendance were George Rice, Bob Jeffries, Sue McClister Conover, Mitchell Tupman, Sara Tupman, Jeanette Bennett Page, Sara Whitney Boston, Francis Gadberry Antle, Mary Jane Williams, Gerald Norris, Billy Smythe, Doris Green Robison, Jessie Burton Gaskin, Helen Claycomb York, Martha Coffey Jones, Irene Bailey Harmon, Sonny Williams, and Sandra Norris. - George Rice This story was posted on 2012-09-03 16:28:56
