Charleen Berg passed away Thursday August 30, 2012 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center. She was 82. Funeral services are 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Monday September 3, 2012 at Atwoods Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Mike Pitzer officiating. Burial is at Casey County Memorial Gardens. No visitation. Charleen Berg, Casey Co., KY (1930-2012) Born Friday, February 28, 1930 in Bismarck, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Cassidy. She died Thursday, August 30, 2012, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 2 days. She was an x-ray technician and member of the Atwoods Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Berg is the widow of Donald Berg. Survivors include two sons: Edward (Leona) Berg of Harrodsburg, KY, and Lawrence (Betty) Berg of Tulsa, OK
