CU to host KY Baptist Convention president at chapel

Campbellsville University will host Dr. Adam Greenway, president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, for chapel on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 10amET/9amCT, in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, KY.



Chapel is held in the Ransdell Chapel on campus at 10mET. every Wednesday and is free and open to the public.

At the Billy Graham School of Missions and Evangelism at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Greenway is an assistant professor of evangelism and applied apologetics as well as the senior associate dean.

He has served as pastor of churches in Kentucky, Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Texas. Greenway serves as a trustee of LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention. He is also a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, the Evangelical Philosophical Society, the International Society of Christian Apologetics, and is president of the Southern Baptist Professors of Evangelism Fellowship.

Greenway is co-editor of Evangelicals Engaging Emergent and The Great Commission Resurgence, and has contributed articles to various books and journals.

He received his bachelor of arts from Samford University, a master of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. -Mary Kutter
