No. 20 Lindsey Wilson Volleyball drops 2 to Top-10 teams Next: Lindsey Wilson Volleyball vs. Asbury U of Wilmore, KY At 6pmCT, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY News from Lindsey Wilson College CLEVELAND, TN - Both ninth-ranked Indiana Wesleyan and third-ranked Lee (TN) University beat the No. 20 Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team 3-0 on Saturday, August 25, 2012. Play was at the Lee Invitational at Paul Dana Walker Arena, (Street & Number of Venue will be posted when found; reader help appreciated - CM) Cleveland, TN. Indiana Wesleyan posted winning set of 25-19, 25-11 and 25-21, while the host Flames beat the Blue Raiders 25-22, 25-15 and 25-22. Lindsey Wilson finishes play at the Lee Invitational with a 1-2 record after beating Xavier (La.) in the season opener on Friday, Augst 24, 2012. Kailey Moorhead picked up right where she left off against Xavier, leading Lindsey Wilson with seven kills in each match. Courtney Doyle matched her effort against the Wildcats, while Sarah Anderson added six kills. Against Lee, it was Anderson who matched Moorhead with seven kills, while Audra McNabney added five. The Blue Raiders posted just a .041 hitting percentage in the loss to Indiana Wesleyan as setter Andrea Taylor finished with just 24 assists. The offense picked up against Lee, hitting .144 with 30 assists from Taylor. Kristi Hager led the Blue Raider defense with 31 total digs on the day and Emily Meeks helped control the net with a combined six blocks, sending back three in each match. Indiana Wesleyan registered a .303 hitting percentage and was led by Rae Brandes with 12 kills. Lee managed a .321 hitting mark and was led by 14 kills from Marija Zelenovic and 10 from Irene Ojukwu.
