Delphene Wilson, 77, Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT, Sunday, August 26, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Billy Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Sunshine, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, August 25, 2012.



Pallbearers: Josh Thomas, Steve Grider, Luke Claywell, Jamie Hunter, Jordan Palmer, and Greg Palmer.

Honorary pallbearers: Jeremy Hunter and Austin Thomas.


Delphene Wilson, Russell County, KY (1934-2012)


She was born December 20, 1934, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Arzonia Harris Watson and the late Ernest Watson. She died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at the age of 77 years, 8 months, and 3 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John D. "Curly" Wilson, and the following:

  • One son: Eric (Angie) Wilson, Russell Springs, KY

  • One daughter: Rhonda (James) Hunter, Mt. Vernon, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • One sister: Elene Wilson, Florida

  • Several nieces and nephews
