Bobbie C. Sexton age 76 years of Weed-Sparksville Road, Columbia, KY passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at 8:27pmCT, at his home.

Graveside service Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 at 3pmCT, at Moore Cemetery 225 Prices Creek Road, Columbia, KY with burial to follow Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.

He was born on Monday, December 30, 1935 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Loren C. and Edna M. Compton Sexton. He died Friday, August 17, 2012, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 18 days. He is survived by his wife Charlene Akin Sexton of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Tony C. Sexton of Columbia, KY

  • One step-son: Chris Cole and wife Nan of Columbia, KY

  • One step-daughter: Marian Grant and husband Tony of Glensfork, KY

  • One brother: Sammy Sexton of Louisville, KY

  • One sister: Nancy Hagan of Louisville, KY

  • Two step-Grandchildren: Ryan Cole and Chasity Dyer

  • One step-Great Grandchild: Madison Cole

  • Uncle Fred Sexton and wife Lois of Columbia, KY

  • A host of other relatives and friends survives
He was retired from U. S. Airforce with 23 years.
