Anna Mae Holt, Adair County, KY (1918-2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, highly regarded Adair County, KY family. She leaves 12 direct living descendants. She was correspondent for the Coburg news for many years and was a homemaker.

Anna Mae Holt, 93, formerly of the Mt. Carmel/Coburg community, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 4:35pmCT, at Summit Manor Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 1pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, KY, with Rev. Steve Willis and Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Burial in Hovious Cemetery in Knifley, KY. Visitation after 5pmCT, Friday, August 17, 202 at the funeral home.



Anna Mae Holt, Adair County, KY (1918-2012)

She was born December 9, 1918 in Taylor County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Harry Franklin and Martha Gumm Perkins. She died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 93 years, 8 months, and 5 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Holt in 1984, and one son, James "Shorty" Holt. She was a correspondent for Coburg News for many years and a homemaker.

Survivors Include:
  • One daughter: Faye Smith of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Warren "Buck" (Margaret) Perkins of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Mike (Debbie) Smith and Sherrie Jo Smith both of Columbia, KY; and Jamie (Travis) Owens of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four great grandchildren: Kenny Lynn & Shawn Smith, Zamar and Tyce Owens

  • Four great great grandchildren: James Allen, Jacob A. and Rylie Smith, Phillip Corneilson
