Soil & Water Conservation Board filing deadline at 4pmCT In addition to filings for school board and Columbia City Council candidacies, Clerk Sheila Blair says that the deadline to file for the Adair County Soil & Water Conservation Board is also at 4pmCT, today, Tuesday, August 14, 2012. No one has filed, as of 2:13pmCT, today. If just four people file, the offices will not be on the ballot this fall. If fewer than four, or more than four file, the offices will be voted in the General Election, November 6, 2012. Although the Clerk's Office is open until 4:30pmCT, today, candidate files must be completed by 4pmCT, Clerk Blair said.
