Mary's House will go over the top today! Just $168 to go! By Fran Neat The start of construction on Mary's House is now virtually assured. Just $168 is needed to reach $40,000.00 we were committed to have in hand before construction begins. We know we can finish the house, and it looks like the total will shoot right past $40,000 and give the room a few extras for the house. Thanks to everyone. We've seen God's Amazing Grace work right here at home! If you are planning an event to raise money for Mary's House, we will publicize it and more money is needed. Here's the Mary's House story and how you can still help - Mary's House: the story and the contacts: Cane Valley Christian Church, along with a group of concerned citizens, is raising money to build a new house for Mary McGuffin, a single, working mother with seven children, whose house recently burned. All donations will be escrowed until 100% of the funds are raised. Land and labor have already been donated. Checks are to be made to Cane Valley Christian Church Benevolence Fund with a memo of "Mary's House." Please make all donations by August 1 so that construction can begin.
